Conference of staff and employees at the University of Law, Hue University for the 2024-2025 academic year
Update day: 26-11-2024With the goal of collaboratively fostering a progressive learning and working environment, on the morning of November 26, 2024, the University of Law, Hue University successfully held the Conference of Staff and Employees for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Representing Hue University, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Duân, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Education Trade Union and Chairman of the Trade Union of Hue University, attended and delivered a keynote address at the conference.
On behalf of the University of Law, Hue University, the attendees included: Associate Professor Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Party Secretary and Rector; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Duy Phương, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn, Chairman of the University Council and other members of the Party Committee, the University’s Executive Board, the Trade Union Chairman, the Secretary of the Youth Union, the Chairman of the Veterans Association, and the entire staff and employees of the institution.
At the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, on behalf of the Presidium, presented a report on the implementation of tasks for the 2023-2024 academic year and outlined the directions and tasks for the 2024-2025 academic year. Reports on financial management and a summary of the activities of the People's Inspection Committee for the 2023–2024 academic year were also presented.
This year, in addition to achievements in admissions and training, the University proudly had: Two academic staff members recognized and conferred the title of Associate Professor by the State Professorship Council; Two lecturers successfully defend their doctoral dissertations; Seven staff members complete their master’s degrees; One staff member complete advanced political theory training.
To successfully achieve its educational and union goals for the new academic year, the University of Law, Hue University outlined specific directions, goals, and tasks, including:
- 100% of staff and employees fulfilling their duties, with 90–95% achieving good or excellent performance.
- Achieving 100% of the enrollment target for regular admissions.
- Ensuring that all academic programs undergo quality assurance and accreditation.
- Transitioning 100% of student data management to the education management software.
- Investing in and completing campus landscaping and infrastructure to commemorate the University’s 10th anniversary.
- Ensuring that all student organizations organize at least one academic program aligned with their specialized fields.
In his address at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Duân, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hue University, highly praised the achievements of the University of Law, Hue University, in various areas, including admissions, training, educational quality, and trade union activities over the past year. He encouraged the university's staff and employees to continually improve their professional skills, remain dedicated to their work, and demonstrate seriousness and responsibility in fulfilling their assigned tasks. He emphasized that these efforts would help strengthen and further develop both the University of Law and Hue University as a whole.
At the conference, the University of Law, Hue University elected: Six delegates to attend the Hue University Staff and Employees Conference for the 2024–2025 academic year and five members to the University’s People's Inspection Committee for the 2024–2026 term.
