After four days of focused, rigorous, and effective work by the external evaluation experts and the entire faculty, staff, and student body, on the afternoon of May 21, 2025, the University of Law, Hue University, held the closing ceremony for the official external review of two postgraduate programs: the Master's and Doctoral programs in Economic Law.

Representing the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation and the External Evaluation Team were Dr. Nguyễn Văn Đường, Director of the Center and Secretary of the Evaluation Team; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bùi Duy Cam, former Rector of the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Head of the Evaluation Team; Dr. Phạm Minh Đàm, Head of the Accreditation Division and standing member of the Evaluation Team; along with other team members.

On the side of the University of Law, Hue University, attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Rector of the University and Chair of the Self-Evaluation Council for the two training programs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duy Phương, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn, Chairman of the University Council; together with heads and deputy heads of affiliated units, all faculty and staff, and representatives of postgraduate students and PhD candidates.

During the event, the external experts presented a preliminary report summarizing the official survey results. The report outlined the evaluation process, core principles and methodology, and highlighted the University’s strengths in postgraduate education. Additionally, the team offered constructive recommendations to help the University further enhance the quality of its training programs.

Speaking on behalf of the University’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duy Phương, Vice Rector, expressed sincere appreciation to the evaluation experts for their professionalism, objectivity, and in-depth assessments. He emphasized that for the University, this was not merely a technical procedure but a valuable opportunity to receive thoughtful feedback and to further improve in service of its learners and educational mission.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Đường commended the University’s spirit of cooperation, thorough preparation, and responsible participation throughout the review process. He expressed confidence that the University of Law, Hue University would continue to capitalize on its strengths and swiftly implement the improvement plans based on the evaluators' recommendations.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, representatives from the External Evaluation Team, the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, and the University of Law, Hue University signed the official minutes confirming the completion of the external review for the postgraduate programs.
