On October 28, 2022, within the framework of the competition "Studying the law on wildlife protection" organized by the University of Law, Hue University in collaboration with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), the training program on "Strengthening youth engagement in wildlife protection in Vietnam" took place at the Conference Room, Huong Giang Hotel, Hue City.

On WCS's side, Ms. Hoang Bich Thuy, Country Director of WCS in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Program Manager of WCS Organization in Vietnam; and WCS staff attended the training session. On behalf of the University of Law, attended Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Le Thi Nga, Dean of Administrative Law Faculty; Dr. Ha Le Thuy, Vice Dean of Criminal Law Faculty; the University’s lecturers; and more than 25 students.

In the opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong expressed: "This training program is a practical playground for students to raise legal awareness on the protection of wildlife, towards protecting nature and the environment. It is also an opportunity for students to promote their dynamism and creativity and to share practical experience and knowledge of wildlife protection legislation. "

Ms. Hoang Bich Thuy, Country Director of WCS in Vietnam, shared that she hoped through this contest, the students would have new knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards wildlife protection, and they would continue to spread these messages to the community in the future.
