On the morning of June 11, 2026, the Faculty of Law, Hue University, held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KangNam University (South Korea). This event marks a significant step in the University's strategy to expand international cooperation, aiming to strengthen academic connections, cultural exchange, and improve the quality of education in the context of global educational integration.

Attending the program were, on behalf of KangNam University, Mr. Kim Jong Dae, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and other faculty members.

On behalf of the Faculty of Law, Hue University, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Party Secretary; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, former Vice Rector, along with leaders of affiliated units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong expressed his pleasure in welcoming the KangNam University delegation to visit and work at the Faculty of Law, Hue University. The Rector emphasized that the signing of the cooperation agreement not only creates a foundation to promote academic exchange and scientific research activities but also opens up more opportunities for international learning, exchange, and skill development for students and faculty of both universities.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the two sides agreed to cooperate in many areas such as: student, faculty, and intern exchanges; conducting joint research and academic publications; participating in scientific seminars and conferences; exchanging documents, learning materials, and academic information; organizing short-term programs on language and culture; professional training and development programs in business, education, and human services; and creating teaching internship opportunities for students.

The signing ceremony not only contributes to expanding the international cooperation network of the University of Law, Hue University, but also demonstrates the orientation towards developing a modern, dynamic, and integrated educational environment. This also serves as an important foundation for the University to continue improving the quality of training, scientific research, and enhancing international learning opportunities for students in the future.

After the ceremony, the University's students had the opportunity to interact and listen to presentations from representatives of KangNam University about the training programs, learning environment, facilities, and opportunities for study and career development in South Korea. In addition, the professors provided useful information related to scholarship policies, admission requirements, student exchange programs, and support policies for international students. These discussions helped students gain more knowledge and a clearer direction for their future academic and personal development plans.
