On June 30, the University of Law, Hue University, sincerely held a ceremony to celebrate the "10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Journal of Law and Practice (2016–2026) and the 101st Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2026)." The event provided an opportunity to look back on the journey of formation and development of a prestigious legal science forum, while honoring the generations who have accompanied and contributed to the journal's growth over the past decade.

The ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including representatives from the Propaganda and Mobilization Commissions of the Party Committee Hue, Hue University, the Hue University Journal of Science, along with scientists, journalists, reporters, and editors from various media agencies across Hue City. Representing the University of Law, Hue University, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, former Vice Rector; alongside members of the Journal's Editorial Council and Editorial Board.

During the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong delivered a report outlining the foundation, development, and outstanding achievements of the Law and Practice Journal over its ten-year journey. He emphasized that the journal serves not only as a platform for publishing research findings but also as a bridge between legal theory and practice. As an academic forum, it drives scientific research, disseminates legal knowledge, enhances training quality, and solidifies the position of the University of Law, Hue University, within Vietnam's higher education system.

The predecessor of the Law and Practice Journal was the Legal Information Newsletter of the Faculty of Law, Hue University, which received its publication license in 2009. Following the elevation of the Faculty of Law to the University of Law under Hue University in 2015, the growing demand for scientific research and academic publication necessitated a high-quality, reputable, and specialized legal journal. On June 6, 2016, the Law and Practice Journal was officially licensed, marking the birth of a specialized legal science journal directly under the University of Law, Hue University.

Over a decade of growth, the Journal has received and processed more than 1,000 scientific articles from researchers, lecturers, and experts nationwide, resulting in the publication of 39 regular issues featuring 472 papers. Behind these figures lies the rigorous, responsible, and dedicated labor of the editorial team, managing secretaries, and peer reviewers, alongside the invaluable partnership of numerous contributors. This stands as a testament to the Journal's continuous advancement in building an in-depth, prestigious academic forum that is increasingly influential within the legal research community.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee expressed its gratitude to the Editors-in-Chief and Deputy Editors-in-Chief of the Law and Practice Journal for the 2016–2026 tenure, while also presenting awards to individuals with significant contributions to its establishment and development. This serves as recognition for the dedication and efforts of successive generations who have supported the Journal throughout its journey.

Notably, the Organizing Committee handed over the Appointment Decision for the new Editor-in-Chief of the Law and Practice Journal to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Lanh (Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation). This consolidation of leadership for the new phase opens a new chapter for the Journal, aiming to further elevate academic quality, accelerate digital transformation, refine scientific publishing standards, and gradually integrate into prestigious regional and international indexing systems and scientific databases.

After a decade of development, the Law and Practice Journal has firmly established its position as a reputable legal science journal of the University of Law, Hue University, contributing to the promotion of research, academic networking, and the dissemination of legal science values amid international integration.
