On May 27, 2026, the University of Law, Hue University organized a training workshop on the self-assessment of academic programmes in accordance with the AUN-QA Version 4.0 standards, aiming to strengthen the University's capacity for quality assurance and accreditation while meeting the ongoing requirements for higher education reform.

The workshop was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Secretary of the Party Committee; Dr. Nguyen Son Ha, Head of the Office of Testing and Educational Quality Assurance; heads and deputy heads of affiliated units; members of the University's Self-Assessment Council; and members of the Secretariat of the specialized working groups.

During the training workshop, Mr. Dao Phong Lam, M.A., a consultant on self-assessment, delivered presentations on key aspects of educational quality accreditation under the AUN-QA Version 4.0 framework. The training covered an overview of the AUN-QA standards, the procedures and methodology for programme self-assessment, and guidance on preparing self-assessment outlines and reports in accordance with each criterion and standard.

Via the workshop, members of the Self-Assessment Council and the Secretariat of the specialized working groups were equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical approaches necessary to effectively implement programme self-assessment in line with the AUN-QA standards, thereby contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of the University's quality assurance activities, perfecting its system of supporting evidence, and facilitating thorough preparation for upcoming quality accreditation processes.
