Because of the Covid-19 outbreak and strict prevention and control requirement from Government, the traditional concentrated classes have been temporarily stopped in all universities in Vietnam. With slogan "Pause going to school, not stop learning", University of Law, Hue University has promptly deployed E-learning in accordance with the actual situation.
Since February 2020, the University has opened the technical training courses in management software and establishment e-lecture’s system for lecturers. Online learning methods have been also popularized and instructed for students through the University’s online channels such as Facebook fan page or website at the same time.

Online classes have been launched since the end of February 2020 with mixed teaching method. It means that half capacity of each module is taught online during the social distancing time and the rest of the module is implemented traditionally via offline classes after the removal of social restriction command. Online popular educational applications such as Zoom, Teams, Google Classroom, Google Hangouts Meet, Facebook Group and Office 365 package have been applied in supporting lecturers and students. This is the reason why students may not only receive the lectures as videos, slides, paper materials prepared by lecturers but also review and broaden knowledge by discussion; individual/group exercises to enhance self learning spirit.
During the teaching process, lecturers also regularly conduct surveys on E-Learning classes’ quality through Google Forms to promptly correct and solve problems for learners. Most of the feedback agreed that online classes have been as 80% well quality as offline ones (the rest of 20% ​​caused by technical problems, transmission lines, teaching and learning time,  teaching and learning tools, ...).

Although the Covid-19 pandemic has strong effect on teaching and learning at the University of Law, Hue University, this is also an opportunity to implement and improve the E-Learning effectiveness as well as set up a high-quality learning environment, thus, affirming the University of Law’s top-quality position in the Central and Western Highlands of Vietnam.
