On the afternoon of October 4, 2025, Hue University of Law, in collaboration with the Thăng Long Center for Education Quality Accreditation, held a ceremony to announce the decision recognizing that its master’s and doctoral programs in Economic Law have met the standards for program-level accreditation. This event marks a significant milestone in the University’s efforts to assure and elevate its training quality, and completes accreditation for all levels—from bachelor to doctoral.

Attending on behalf of Hue University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Võ Viết Minh Nhật, Vice Head of the Training & Student Affairs Committee of Hue University; and from the University of Law:  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn, Chair of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duy Phương, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Law and Practice Journal and former Vice Rector; along with leaders of faculties, staff, postgraduate students, and research scholars.

Earlier, from June 18 to 21, 2025, the external evaluation team from Thăng Long Center conducted on-site assessment at Hue University of Law. The team worked directly with schools and units, and reviewed evidence supporting the formal evaluation report. Following the field assessment phase, the Center officially issued the accreditation certificates to the University of Law.

This accreditation success not only places Hue University of Law among the few training institutions in Vietnam that have obtained full accreditation at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels, but also lays the groundwork for comprehensive standardization and modernization of training and research operations. It also reaffirms the University’s firm commitment to producing high-quality legal human resources to meet national development needs and international integration demands.
