At 8h00 'June 24, 2021, in Conference Room A1 , 2nd floor, block A, University of Law, the Faculty of Economic Law in collaboration with Law Firm Ngoc Hanh and Associates held a school-level academic conference online. With the topic "Perfecting Vietnamese law in the context of digital transformation", the conference was under the co-chair of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong - Vice Rector of the University of Law, Hue University, Dr. Dao Mong Diep - Dean of Faculty of Economic Law  and Lawyer, MSc. Dang Thi Ngoc Hanh - Director of Law Firm Ngoc Hanh and Associates.

The conference is pleased to welcome the attendance of distinguished guests. On the side of agencies in Thua Thien Hue province, there was the presence of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son - Director of Information and Communications Department; Ms. Au Thi Nguyet Lien - Head of Propaganda Office of Tax Department; Ms. Doan Thi Ai Hoa and Mr. Le Xuan Phuc - from Provincial People's procuracy, representative of the provincial National Assembly delegation; lawyer Vo Cong Hanh - Director of Cong Khanh Law Firm; lawyer Dang Thi Ngoc Hanh - Director of Law Firm Ngoc Hanh and Associates. On the side of the University of Law, Hue University, there was the attendance of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Duc Luong - Rector; Dr. Dao Mong Diep - Dean of Economic Law Faculty; Dr. Cao Dinh Lanh - Head of Science and Technology - International Cooperation Office; Dr. Le Thi Thao - In charge of Law practice & Business relations Center; Dr. Ha Le Thuy - Vice Dean of Criminal Law Faculty; Dr. Tran Viet Long - Deputy Head of Training Department; MSc. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Head of Commercial law - Labor law Department.

The conference is a forum to exchange and evaluate the current state of Vietnamese law in the fields of commercial, civil, criminal, administrative, international .... From there, some orientations and solutions are given to complete the legal framework on digital transformation in the context of globalization. 

The conference selected 27 quality articles for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Out of these, the Organizing Committee has selected 4 articles to present at the conference. The first presentation of Dr. Duong Quynh Hoa from Institute of State and Law, Institute for Legislative Research with the topic "Resolving online disputes to protect consumer interests"; The second of Dr. Ha Le Thuy - Vice Dean of Criminal Law Faculty, University of Law, Hue University with the topic "The influence of digital transformation on the construction of signs of crime in the banking sector"; The third  of Dr. Nguyen Minh Thao - Deputy Head of Financial Management Department, Faculty of Finance and Banking, Hanoi University of Commerce with the topic "Contributing to the management of cryptocurrencies in Vietnam in the context of the current digital finance development"; The last of PhD candidate, MSc.Nguyen Duy Thanh - Lecturer of Economic Law Faculty, Hue University of Law, with the topic "Solving e-commerce disputes by online methods according to some countries in the world and lessons for Vietnam".

At the end of the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, on behalf of the panel chairs, summarized the issues, and gave the hope that there would be more academic forums for exchange on legal issues in the current digital transformation context. 

The conference ended successfully at 12:00 on the same day.
