Participation of University of Law’s representives in the Video Contest "Joining Hands To Prevent And Combat Covid-19"
Update day: 14-09-2021The SARS-CoV-2 disease starting in December 2019 has quickly become a global pandemic with more than 200 countries affected. In Vietnam, as of 24 April 2020, there are 268 confirmed cases, 224 recoveries, and no deaths. Hundreds of suspected cases are monitored, thousands of people are centralized isolation and the slowdown of global economy lead to extremely negative consequences on people’s daily live.
With the awareness and responsibility of the youth for community, in an effort to join hands with the authorities and the people in the country to propagandize about COVID-19 disease prevention and control, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue University launched a creative video contest named "Joining hands to prevent and fight agains the COVID 19" for students of Hue University's member universities and faculties.

The competition quickly attracted a large number of students from many universities such as University of Law, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Sciences, University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Foreign Languages ... All products participating in the contest have showed the creativity, newness, enthusiasm of youth of Hue University students. Diverse forms of dance, singing, reportage, modern dance ... have been applied for building the video in the maximum duration of 02 minutes limited number of participants is 05. The communication contents are focused on current key themes in disease prevention and control such as how to wear a mask, wash hands properly, keep safe distance and establish social distance.
Launched from the end of March 2020 and called for voting for the teams within 14 days of implementing the Directive 16/CT-TTg on social isolation (from 1/4/2020 to 4/15/2020), the competition has identified the best teams so far.
The Culture and Arts Club representing the University of Law was honored to achieve the second prize. Although we cannot obtain the highest prize, our team has excellently shown the law students’ spirit and intellect. It is great motivation for University of Law to continue launching a series of activities in arising community’s awareness during the time of prevention and control of Covid-19.
