OVER 3,000 VOTERS PARTICIPATE IN ELECTIONS FOR NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND PEOPLE'S COUNCILS AT POLLING STATION NO. 17, UNIVERSITY OF LAW, HUE UNIVERSITY
Update day: 15-03-2026On March 15, 2026, more than 3,000 students from the University of Law, Hue University, cast their ballots for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure. The voting took place at Polling Station No. 17, An Cuu Ward, Hue City, in accordance with statutory regulations.
From the early morning hours, the atmosphere at the polling station was characterized by a sense of seriousness, order, and strict adherence to established procedures. Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University, personally exercised his right to vote at the campus polling station alongside 3,036 student voters. A large number of students arrived early to fulfill their civic rights and duties, contributing to the solemn and democratic atmosphere of this electoral festival. Organizational efforts at the polling station were rigorously implemented; voter guidance, the posting of candidate lists, and voting procedures were fully executed to ensure a seamless process for participating students.
The majority of students participating in this election are first-time voters. For Hue Law students, the act of personally holding a ballot to choose representatives who embody the will and aspirations of the People is more than just a milestone of adulthood. It serves as a meaningful practical experience closely linked to their academic journey - where they are equipped with knowledge regarding the State and law, human rights, fundamental civic rights and duties, as well as the organizational and operational principles of the state apparatus.
The ballots carefully cast by over 3,000 students of the University of Law, Hue University, do more than just contribute to the solemnity and democracy of the election day. They reflect the trust, expectations, and responsibility of the young intelligentsia toward the activities of the National Assembly and authorities at all levels in the new term, aiming toward the sustainable development of the nation.
