To promote the dissemination and popularization of knowledge and skills related to the resolution of disputes through commercial mediation in Vietnam, the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC) and the University of Law, Hue University (HUL) have jointly organized the Vietnam Mediation Moot (V-Med) competition.

The Vietnam Mediation Moot (V-Med) is a commercial mediation competition conducted in Vietnamese, based on a practical model of mediation sessions. The competition provides contestants with the opportunity to enhance and acquire additional knowledge and mediation skills. Additionally, V-Med offers a series of skill training workshops, mediation discussions, and many other activities on the V-Med - Vietnam Mediation Moot Fanpage.

Following the success of V-Med 2023, this year the competition has attracted 120 teams with over 450 contestants from 30 registered universities. The contestants have undergone 4 training workshops and completed a theoretical test. After this test, the Organizing Committee selected the 20 best teams from universities to participate in the second stage of the competition: Practical mock mediation sessions. The second stage will consist of 3 rounds, based on 3 hypothetical scenarios designed by the Organizing Committee.

The final round of the competition will take place over 3 days: September 28, 29, and 30, 2024, at the University of Law, Hue University. The competition will surely be an unforgettable experience for the contestants, the judges, and the entire V-Med family.
