INTEGRATION IS NOT FAR AWAY: HUE UNIVERSITY OF LAW’ STUDENTS EXPLORE EUROPEAN UNION LAW
Update day: 06-03-2026From March 2, 2026 to March 6, 2026, University of Law, Hue University (HUL) successfully organized a series of academic seminars: “European Integration – History, Politics, Law, Policies and External Relations of the European Union.” The program consisted of 05 session which attracted strong interest and active participation from many students and lecturers.
The program was taught and academically facilitated directly by Dr. Piotr Uhma, a lecturer in Public International Law at the Institute of Law, Economics and Administration, University of the National Education Commission (Krakow, Republic of Poland).
With extensive research and teaching experience in international law and European Union law, Dr. Piotr Uhma provided students with many new academic perspectives connected to the real-world process of regional integration.
Within the seminar series, students were introduced to many important topics related to the formation and development of the European Union, including: the origins and historical development of modern Europe; the EU’s political system and governance mechanisms; the distinctive legal structure of the European Union; the system of legal sources and fundamental principles of EU law; the internal market, EU policies and trade law; as well as the EU’s external relations, soft power, and development prospects in the context of globalization.
Through these academic sessions, HUL’ students not only gained access to in-depth knowledge of EU legal systems and institutions but also had the opportunity to broaden their legal thinking and strengthen their ability to analyze legal issues in the context of international integration.
The seminar series is one of the notable academic activities of the University of Law, Hue University, aimed at strengthening international cooperation in education and scientific research while helping students gain closer access to advanced legal models around the world.
