Hue University School of Law seeks feedback from stakeholders on learner assessment activities in order to enhance training quality.
Update day: 14-11-2025On the morning of October 22, 2025, the School of Law, Hue University, held a conference to gather feedback from stakeholders regarding learner assessment activities. This event is one of the key initiatives aimed at effectively implementing the recommendations of the External Evaluation Team for education quality accreditation, while continuously improving training quality to meet the increasing demands of learners, employers, and society.

Attending the conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the School; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, former Vice Rector; along with leaders of subordinate units, Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments, and visiting lecturers. The conference also saw the presence of the Youth Union secretaries and class monitors of the regular undergraduate programs.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the School, emphasized the central role of assessment and evaluation in ensuring training quality and fostering a transparent and equitable learning environment. He affirmed that gathering diverse feedback from lecturers, students, and stakeholders would help the School refine its procedures and assessment methods to better align with practical training needs.

At the conference, Dr. Nguyen Son Ha, Head of Department of academic quality assurance and examination, presented a summary report on assessment activities, learner performance outcomes, and the key issues seeking feedback at the event. Following the program, MSc. Le Phuoc Son, Deputy Head of Department of academic quality assurance and examination, provided a detailed presentation on the method for assessing the achievement of learning outcomes for students approaching graduation. This method aims to offer a comprehensive evaluation not only of professional knowledge but also of practical skills and professional qualities, ensuring that graduates meet the practical needs of society and the labor market.

The conference also recorded numerous discussions among lecturers, students, and visiting instructors. The comments focused on standardizing the list of materials allowed in examination rooms, unifying the process for evaluating student conduct, diversifying forms of assessment, and innovating teaching methods. In addition, participants proposed strengthening review sessions to support students, standardizing exam question development procedures, and establishing clearer regulations.
The organization of this stakeholder consultation conference demonstrates the School’s commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in training quality, contributing to the development of a competent legal workforce that meets the country’s socio-economic development needs.
