On the morning of May 11, 2020, University of Law, Hue University held a Conference to elect the Chairman of the University Council for the term 2020 - 2025. Participants in the Conference include Assoc. Prof. PhD Nguyen Duan – Director of the Organization and Personnel Department; Mr. Hoang Van Hanh, Chief of Hue Party Committee Office secretariat on the side of Hue University and Assoc. Prof. PhD Doan Duc Luong, Secretary of the School Party Committee, the Rector, member of the Council and 14 other members on the side of University of Law.

The conference elected MSc. Nguyen Hong Son, Acting Chairman of the School Council, for the term of 2015-2020 as the Chairman of the University of Law Council for the 2020-2025 term (the approval rate is 85.7%). The University of Law submitted the result to the President of Hue University for a decision to recognize the position for MSc. Nguyen Hong Son as prescribed.

Previously, on May 4, 2020, the President of Hue University issued Decision No. 618/QD-DHH on the recognition of the term 2020-2025 Council of University of Law with 15 members including 5 representatives of the governing body of Hue University and relevant agencies and businesses; 1 student representative and 9 staffs/lecturers members of the School.
