On the morning of March 27, 2026, at Hue University Hall, PHD candidate Do Thi Dien successfully defended her PHD dissertation at Hue University on the topic: “Law on the Protection of Three-Dimensional Trademarks in Vietnam.”

The dissertation committee was chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University of Law, Hue University. At the defense session, the committee heard the report on the candidate’s academic profile, study and research process, as well as her scientific achievements. In presenting before the committee, PHD candidate Do Thi Dien clarified the core research contents of the dissertation.

The committee assessed the dissertation as a carefully conducted research work with an appropriate methodological approach, in-depth content, sound scientific quality, and practical significance. The dissertation was completed under the academic supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Hai Yen (Hanoi Law University) and Associate Professor Dr. Cao Dinh Lanh (University of Law, Hue University).

After the discussion session, the committee met in camera and conducted the vote; the result was 100% approval of the dissertation. On behalf of the committee, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Luong congratulated PHD candidate Do Thi Dien and acknowledged her scholarly contributions.

Speaking at the ceremony, PHD candidate Do Thi Dien expressed her deep gratitude to the University of Law, Hue University; the Faculty of Civil Law; her supervisors; friends; and family members who had always accompanied and supported her throughout the training process and in the successful defense of her dissertation, enabling her to attain the PHD degree.
