On the afternoon of November 6, 2024, the University of Law, Hue University, held a ceremony to commend the valedictorians and salutatorians of the K48 course and to reward students from various courses for their outstanding achievements in academics and training during the 2023-2024 academic year.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duy Phương, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn, Chairman of the University Council; along with members of the Party Committee, University Council, Board of Management, heads and deputy heads of departments, and nearly 1,000 full-time students.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương emphasized that the ceremony was a meaningful activity to recognize and celebrate the remarkable efforts of students in overcoming difficulties and challenges to achieve excellence in the 2023-2024 academic year. He highlighted that it also reflected the determination of students from across the country who, despite numerous obstacles, succeeded in passing the 2024 national high school graduation exam with high scores, gained university admission, and chose the University of Law, Hue University, as the institution to pursue their academic and personal development.

During the event, the university presented certificates of merit and scholarships worth 30 million VND to Võ Văn Thuận Thành, the valedictorian, and certificates of merit along with scholarships worth 20 million VND to Nguyễn Thị Hồng Thơm, the salutatorian.

In addition, the University of Law, Hue University, honored students with notable achievements in scientific research and competitions such as Commercial Mediation, the 2024 Creativity and Intellectual Property Rights Competition, the 2024 Legal Talent Contest, as well as those who demonstrated outstanding academic and training performances during the 2023-2024 academic year.

The university’s students are future legal practitioners. “We firmly believe and hope that during their time at the university, both faculty and students will dedicate themselves to fulfilling their responsibilities and upholding the mission of education: ‘Improving intellectual standards, developing human resources, and nurturing talents”. This commitment will lead to significant achievements in the academic year," shared Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, the Rector of the university.
