Ceremony to Announce the Decision on the Merger of Organizational Structure and Streamlining of Staff for the Education Inspection Team and the Information Technology Team in Accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW
Update day: 08-05-2025On the morning of May 8, 2025, the University of Law, Hue University held a ceremony to announce the Decision on merging the organizational structure and streamlining staff of the Education Inspection Team and the Information Technology Team, in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW.
Attending the ceremony were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Party Committee Secretary and Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the University Council; Heads and deputy heads of university units; Former leaders and officials of the Education Inspection Team and the Information Technology Team; Former part-time members of the Education Inspection Team.

At the ceremony, MSc. Nguyen Van Kiem, Head of the Organization and Administration Department, officially announced the University's Decision on restructuring the organizational apparatus. This decision implements Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017, issued by the 12th Central Executive Committee, regarding continued reforms and streamlining of the political system’s structure for improved effectiveness and efficiency. The specific changes are as follows: The Education Inspection Team is transferred to the Training Department and renamed the Training Supervision Team; The Information Technology Team is transferred to the Library and Information Center and renamed the Information Technology & Digital Transformation Team.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Party Secretary and Rector of the University, delivered a speech assigning tasks to the units.
In his address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Party Secretary and Rector of the University, emphasized that this restructuring is a key step toward optimizing the university’s organizational structure, enhancing operational efficiency, and meeting the evolving demands of the new period.
He expressed his expectations that the newly integrated units will build on their traditions, continue to affirm their roles and responsibilities, and consistently strive for excellence in professional performance. The merger and reorganization of these units align with the university’s long-term strategic development goals, contributing to the creation of a more flexible, modern, and efficient university governance model in the current context.
