On the morning of October 6, 2025, the University of Law, Hue University solemnly held the Ceremony to Announce the Resolution of the Hue University Council on the Recognition of the Rector of the University of Law, Hue University for the 2025–2030 term.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Hue City, was Ms. Đinh Thị Như Hiền, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Hue City.

Representing Hue University were Prof. Dr. Trần Đăng Hòa, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue University Council; Dr. Bùi Văn Lợi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Vice President of Hue University; Dr. Đỗ Thị Xuân Dung, Vice President of Hue University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duân, Chairman of the Trade Union and Chief of the Office of the Party Committee, Council, and Unions of Hue University; together with leaders of departments, member universities, and affiliated units under Hue University.

From the University of Law, Hue University, participants included members of the Party Committee, University Council, the Board of Rectors, and all officials and staff members of the University.

Earlier, on September 5, 2025, the Hue University Council issued Resolution No. 55/NQ-HĐĐH recognizing the Rector of the University of Law, Hue University for the 2025–2030 term. According to the Resolution, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Senior Lecturer and Rector for the 2020–2025 term, was reappointed as Rector of the University of Law, Hue University for the 2025-2030 term.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duân, Chairman of the Trade Union and Chief of the Office of the Party Committee, Council, and Unions of Hue University, announced the Resolution of the Hue University Council recognizing the Rector of the University of Law, Hue University for the 2025–2030 term.

At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Trần Đăng Hòa, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue University Council, presented the Resolution recognizing the Rector of the University of Law, Hue University for the 2025–2030 term. The event not only marked the beginning of a new leadership term but also opened a new phase of growth and development for the University of Law, Hue University.

Prof. Dr. Trần Đăng Hòa expressed his confidence that the newly reappointed Rector would continue to uphold the University’s proud traditions and achievements, further elevating the University of Law, Hue University as one of the nation’s leading institutions in legal education, contributing to the overall development of Hue University.

In his inaugural address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Rector of the University of Law, Hue University for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his profound gratitude to the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Hue City, the leadership of Hue University, the University’s Party Committee, Council, Board of Rectors, and all lecturers, staff, and employees for their trust, support, and companionship over the years.

In his remarks, the Rector pledged to build upon the accomplishments of the previous term while promoting innovation in university governance, enhancing training quality, strengthening scientific research, expanding international cooperation, and fostering a professional, friendly, and creative learning and working environment.

The Ceremony to Announce the Resolution Recognizing the Rector for the 2025–2030 Term, along with the presentation of decisions on reappointments and appointments of heads and deputy heads of units under the University, took place in a solemn and unifying atmosphere.
