The Department of Science, Technology - International Cooperation is a affiliated unit of the University of Law, Hue University, established under Decision No. 19/QD-DHL dated April 3, 2015 of the Rector of the University of Law, Hue University
The Department of Science, Technology - International Cooperation performs its own functions and tasks according to the relevant provisions of the Education Law 2019, the Higher Education Law 2012 (amended in 2018), the Article 17 of the University Charter, the Circular 08/2014/TT - BGDDT dated December 20 March 2014 of the Ministry of Education and Training, Regulations on Organization and operation of the University of Law, Hue University.

The Department of Science, Technology - International Cooperation is identified as a functional unit of the University of Law, Hue University. The Department is operated under the direct leadership of the Rector and responsible to the Rector for organizing and carrying out assigned tasks, specifically:
+ Advising the Rector on building strategies and plans for science and technology development; Implementing and managing scientific research and technology transfer activities in the University.
+ Advising the Rector on building strategies and plans for international cooperation; Organizing, directing, implementing and monitoring international cooperation activities within the Unversity.
On Science and Technology activities
+ Propose and develope the University’s annual as well as phased plans and strategies for science and technology development.
+ Manage, organize, implement, monitor and inspect scientific and technological research projects at all levels as well as the ones jointly carried out with domestic and foreign partners.
+ Coordinate with other relevant functional departments to organize and implement the University’s guidelines, regimes and policies on scientific research, application and technology transfer.
+ Be the focal point agency coordinating with relevant units in copyright registration activities; Manage and exploit intellectual property information in scientific research and technology transfer within the University; participate in managing and supervising the activities of science and technology enterprises.
+ Organize the Law and Practice Journal publication.
+ Chair and coordinate with relevant units to organize domestic scientific conferences and seminars.
On International cooperation activities
+ Be the focal point agency building the University’s annual as well as phased international cooperation strategies and plans.
+ Be the focal point agency managing and implementing international cooperation activities and foreign cooperation projects as well as programs on training, scientific research and technology transfer throughout the University.
+ Coordinate with relevant units to handle the entry and exit procedures of foreign partners (Immigration procedures, agenda and other necessary information); resolve required procedures for officials and employees in overseas training, professional knowledge development, exchange and cooperation activities.
+ Inspect and monitor international cooperation activities of affiliated units within the University; provide professional guidance to the international cooperation staff in these units.
+ Coordinate with relevant units to organize scientific conferences and seminars with foreign elements.
+ Monitor and regularly report to the Rector on the implementation of signed cooperation plans;
+ Coordinate with relevant units to resolve issues related to foreign learners studying at the University.
