Functions and tasks 

Functions 

  1. Advise the Rector on training activities, including: establishing objectives, programs, plans, and training scale; 

  2. Organize and manage training activities according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, Hue University, and the university's regulations. 

Tasks 

  1. Coordinate with relevant units to research and propose development directions for the University in terms of training objectives, training systems, industry structure, scale, and training methods; 

  2. Develop plans and targets for university enrollment for different training systems, including postgraduate programs; 

  3. Lead the development of new university majors and programs; 

  4. Advise the Rector in establishing appraisal councils and issuing regulations for regular and other training programs; 

  5. Develop and implement documents related to training activities; 

  6. Develop teaching, learning, and graduation thesis plans; 

  7. Monitor and implement training plans at faculties and centers;

  8. Create schedules and arrange classrooms, and confirm lecturers' teaching plans; 

  9. Manage diploma templates and issue diplomas according to regulations, and monitor diploma issuance; 

  10. Manage academic results and confirm academic records, respond to requests from agencies and organizations regarding students' academic results and graduation diplomas; 

  11. Coordinate the organization of training program summaries;

  12.  Advise the Rector on decisions related to the training process; 

  13. Coordinate with relevant units to confirm teaching hours for lecturers' payment; 

  14. Coordinate with the Planning-Finance Department to develop and manage training contracts and teaching contracts with other training institutions; 

  15. Collaborate with other units to develop plans and organize the implementation of military education and physical education for students; 

  16. Regularly or unexpectedly report on training activities at the request of authorized levels; 

  17. Store and manage documents and records in accordance with regulations in the areas of responsibility.

  18. Perform other related tasks regarding training activities.
